Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bang Bangv (ranked 4355 p4p, 4284 weight class) and Diego Siquina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siquina fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bangv avoids it really well and circles away.
Bangv fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Siquina looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Siquina is defended easily by Bangv.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Siquina misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Siquina fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Bangv on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Bangv pushes Siquina off but Siquina dives into side control.
Bangv is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Siquina is controlling him well.

Bangv throws a body punch but Siquina moves out of range.

Bangv wants to stand and escape but Siquina is having none of it.

Siquina decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bangv, up you get!

Siquina postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Bangv to stand up.
Nice straight punches there by Bangv. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bangv.
Siquina shoots and misses

and Bangv holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bangv escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Siquina looks for the body kick but Bangv saw that one coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Siquina looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bangv lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bangv gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Siquina to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Siquina is standing up over Bangv. Bangv looks to escape but Siquina dives into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bang Bangv is winning the standup battle so far.
Bangv throws a pinpoint strike between Siquina's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Siquina crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Bangv scores a great knockout victory!

In his post fight interview, Bang Bangv started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
