Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23832 p4p, 23836 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Clifford Val Salvacion enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 24 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 47 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Amiga closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Amiga misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. As Amiga backs off Salvacion throws a huge counter combo but Amiga manages to avoid it all. Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up with Amiga, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes Amiga against the cage but Amiga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Salvacion counters with a good, hard body kick but Amiga shrugs it off. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kugus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amiga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Amiga struggling a bit here. Amiga is letting Salvacion control him for a moment. Salvacion working away. Amiga is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga can't do much from the bottom here. Salvacion trying to control the action but Amiga is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salvacion controlling the position from side mount.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Salvacion dives in for a single leg takedown but Amiga sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion darts in looking for a takedown but Amiga gets double underhooks and turns Salvacion into the cage. Amiga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salvacion's waist but Salvacion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amiga off to one side. Amiga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Amiga gets slowly back to his feet. Salvacion is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Salvacion throws a leg kick but Amiga sees it coming and moves out of range. As Salvacion looks to move away, Amiga throws a big counter combo but Salvacion just gets out of the way. Salvacion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Amiga. Amiga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Clifford Val Salvacion dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Amiga fails with the takedown and Salvacion counters with a good, hard body kick but Amiga shrugs it off. Salvacion shoots in and bounces Amiga off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Salvacion controls from within his opponent's guard. Salvacion has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga trying to control the position here. Salvacion's corner is telling him to maintain position. Salvacion throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Amiga works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Amiga is controlling Salvacion's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Salvacion is stalling in the full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga is trying to control the position but Salvacion postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Salvacion. And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it. Salvacion shoots for a takedown but Amiga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Salvacion is defended easily by Amiga. Amiga seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clifford Val Salvacion. Salvacion shoots in but Amiga avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amiga sprawls well. Amiga wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salvacion gets slowly back to his feet. Amiga throws a big counter combination but Salvacion scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Salvacion as he avoids it easily. Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Clifford Val Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salvacion. Salvacion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Amiga quickly recovers to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga is positioning himself well to prevent Salvacion advancing to mount. Salvacion perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is looking to control Salvacion's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Amiga avoid being mounted? Salvacion controlling the action here. Clifford Val Salvacion has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Amiga tries to roll over but Salvacion keeps him under control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Salvacion goes for a double leg but Amiga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amiga continues to drive forward. Amiga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Amiga shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Amiga. Amiga in side control, just content to control the action for now. Salvacion is not content to let Amiga control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is trying to control Amiga's posture but Amiga avoids it. Kugus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Salvacion is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Clifford Val Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Kugus Amiga showed his dominance in that final round. Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
