Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Julio Marquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bang Bang!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez works over Bang's head and body with a nice combination.
Marquez lands the left hand.
Marquez gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Bang counters with a takedown into side control.
Bang decides to stand back up.
Marquez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bang's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bang jabs at Marquez's body.
Marquez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bang paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bang keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bang feints the counter takedown.
Bang sends Marquez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bang is motioning to the referee to let Marquez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Marquez is rocked!
Julio Marquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Bang engages and cracks Marquez with a massive lead left hook - Marquez tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Bang is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bang Bang!
