Stajerski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ACAB. Aljo Stajerski has the better chin. The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stajerski feints and as Richards raises his hands in defense, Stajerski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Richards looking for a guillotine here but Stajerski defends easily.
Richards working for a triangle but Stajerski defends it easily.
Richards had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stajerski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Richards Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stajerski's back instead.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Stajerski manages to reverse the position and now he's in Richards's guard. Nice work there by Stajerski.
Stajerski wants to control from the top but Richards keeps moving.
