Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Guy (ranked 23847 p4p, 24365 weight class) and Heavy Mann (ranked 252 p4p, 241 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy lands with a straight right. Mann didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Heavy Mann has been cut.
Guy jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Guy is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Guy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Guy throws out a loose jab but Mann uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mann throws out a counter right but Guy avoids it with no problem.
Guy is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Mann counters with a nice low kick that buckles Guy's knee momentarily.
Guy misses with a left hand
and Mann counters with a stiff right hand.
Heavy Guy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Mann lands a big uppercut and Guy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Guy looks OK. Mann waves Guy back to his feet!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Heavy Guy will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Guy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Guy, as that shot connected.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Mann might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Guy has got the better of the exchanges.
