Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24137 p4p, 24094 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walay Buut has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 34 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 31 - 28 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buktot shoots in but Buut avoids the takedown attempt easily. Buut is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Buut with a poor takedown and Buktot counters with a solid body kick. Buut misses with a takedown and Buktot counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut tries to get to full guard but Buktot has control of the leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Buut is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Buktot!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buktot keeps working. Buktot struggling a bit here. Buut controlling from side mount. Buktot struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The ground and pound from Buut seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Buut working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut takes a little break here. Buktot wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Buktot darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Buktot gets a double leg takedown into Buut's guard. Buut looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Buut is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buktot bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Buut's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buktot slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Buktot preventing the sweep. Buktot sitting in guard, not really doing much. Buut is trying to keep Buktot in close.
Buktot is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Buut can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Buktot is fighting to break Buut's control of his arms but Buut is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

A close second round but Walay Buut will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Buut looks for a takedown but Buktot sprawls well. Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Buut shoots in but no luck this time. Buktot seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Buktot shoots in looking for a takedown. Buut tries to sprawl out of it but Buktot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buut manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Buktot throws a quick counter kick to the body but Buut avoids it. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut.

Buktot closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot trying to control the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Dawindi Buktot showed his dominance in that final round. Well Buktot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
