Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24074 p4p, 24024 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 35 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 28 - 31 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sapi shoots in for a double leg but Mibangon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sapi shoots in for a takedown but Mibangon shows good takedown defense. Nice takedown defense from Mibangon. No joy for Sapi on that attempt. And Mibangon counters with a quick kick to the body but Sapi blocks it. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. Mibangon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sapi tries to avoid it but Mibangon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sapi to the ground. Sapi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sapi steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Sapi keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sapi controls his leg. Sapi is trying to maintain the position but Mibangon is very close to passing his half guard. Mibangon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sapi is looking for a sweep. Mibangon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sapi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mibangon seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sapi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mibangon pinned against the cage. Mibangon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mibangon thinks about countering with a body kick. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mibangon performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Sapi wants to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sapi. Mibangon shoots in but no luck this time. Sapi counters with a body kick. Mibangon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sapi avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sapi is trying to defend but Mibangon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mibangon is trying to control the action in half guard but Sapi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sapi trying to control but Mibangon postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mibangon connects with a nice short shot to Sapi's temple. Sapi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mibangon is working away from the top position though. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mibangon trying to pass the guard but Sapi defending well.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mibangon leaves Sapi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. And Mibangon counters with a quick kick to the body but Sapi blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mibangon is looking to land body kicks. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sapi sprawls well. Sapi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mibangon gets slowly back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Sapi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mibangon defends well and Sapi ends up having to push Mibangon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sapi as he avoids it easily. Sapi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sapi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mibangon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mibangon holds on and takes a little breather. Minatay Mibangon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sapi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sapi is continuing to stall.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Mibangon dives in and grabs Sapi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sapi pushes down on Mibangon's head and hops out. Sapi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Mibangon fails with a takedown attempt. And Sapi responds with a good body kick, but Mibangon manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sapi is trying to control. Mibangon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sapi stalling. Sapi wants to pass to mount but Mibangon is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Wala Sapi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sapi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi wants to control but Mibangon is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mibangon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
