Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Little Bandit (ranked 1543 p4p, 2775 weight class) and Jackson Davis (ranked 119 p4p, 183 weight class). Jackson Davis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Little Bandit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jackson Davis! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jackson Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bandit misses with a lunging right hand
and Davis counters with a lovely shot to the body. Davis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bandit did well to prevent Davis getting side control. Davis is looking to advance position but Bandit won't allow it. Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bandit keeps working. Davis slows the pace down in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bandit keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bandit is looking to improve his position.
Davis lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bandit is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at DF Fitnesscentrum, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Ground and pound from Davis. Bandit tries to get to full guard but Davis has control of the leg. My spies in 3Band MMA inform me that Davis has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Davis is looking to take a break and control but Bandit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bandit gets full guard. Davis lying in Bandit's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Bandit decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Davis taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
