Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Friendly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason David Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Frank has chosen Go Go Power Rangers as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David Frank shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Friendly as he jumps to the side.

Friendly stuffs the takedown attempt from David Frank. David Frank gets slowly back to his feet.

Friendly throws a hook to the side of David Frank's head but David Frank sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Friendly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

David Frank tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no David Frank has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

David Frank moves into the clinch.
Friendly wants to break the clinch but can't.
Friendly wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but David Frank has him pressed against the cage.
Friendly wants to get back to striking at distance but David Frank won't allow it.
David Frank goes for a takedown attempt but Friendly pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Friendly tries to bum rush David Frank with a series of wild strikes but David Frank uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
David Frank has a takedown stuffed.
David Frank gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nice uppercut there from Friendly.

Jason David Frank dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
