Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian Carter (ranked 2215 p4p, 2925 weight class) and Keanu Landron (ranked 293 p4p, 374 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keanu Landron!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carter throws a poor cross that misses
and Landron counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Carter just misses with a punch to the body.
Landron swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Landron takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Landron moves out of range of the strikes.
Carter lands a right hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carter scores with a jab to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Carter. Landron does a little dance to reset his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Landron! But no joy.
Carter misses with an uppercut
and Landron counters with an inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Landron is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Carter just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Landron has gone limp and this one is over!
