Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Satoshi Ishii!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders gets caught flat footed, as Ishii shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sanders is trying to keep Ishii in close.
Sanders wants to get back to his feet but Ishii is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ishii trying to control but Sanders is working from the bottom.
Ishiiis looking to pass into half guard but Sanders pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Sanders is in guard.
Sanders throwing strikes from guard but Ishii blocks nicely.
Ishii throws his legs up looking for a submission but Sanders uses it to pass to side control.
Ishii manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sanders's best efforts.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ishii is looking for a sweep. Sanders is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ishii is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sanders scores with a couple of nice shots.
Ishii on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sanders lands a nice short elbow.
Sanders frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ishii tries to lock up and control but Sanders gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ishii working to try and regain half guard.

Sanders lands a nice shot to the head.
Ishii is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sanders postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ishii looks a forlorn figure.
Sanders lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Sanders! Ishii is hurt baaadly! Sanders is firing away with more strikes - Ishii is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Bruce Sanders!
