The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Hernandez.
A jab from Banjo does it's job there.
Hernandez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Banjo.
Banjo lands a jab to the nose.
Hernandez lands with a straight right. Banjo didn't see that one coming.
Banjo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Banjo missing with a left hand there. Hernandez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've been hearing reports that Hernandez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Hernandez lands a big right hand that sends Banjo crashing to the mat! Hernandez stays standing though and waves Banjo back to his feet!

Hernandez closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Banjo! Hernandez dives in looking to finish! Banjo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
