The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington misses with a lunging right hand
and Kocak counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Washington is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kocak.
Kocak connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Washington defending well as Kocak loads up on a big left hand.
Washington avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Washington misses with a hook
and Kocak counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kocak connects with a good right hand that stumbles Washington. Washington circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Washington gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kocak.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Washington.
Washington ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Washington with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Washington does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kocak is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Kocak throws a leg kick but Washington sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Kocak uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
