PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eli Vieira (ranked 3251 p4p, 5359 weight class) and Miguel Garces (ranked 361 p4p, 516 weight class). Garces has chosen Light into the Darkness as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garces fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vieira, pushing him back against the cage.

Vieira breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vieira throws a series of punches but Garces moves out of range.

Garces has taken the fight to the clinch.

Vieira escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vieira swings for the body but Garces moves out of range.
Vieira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vieira just misses with a punch to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garces.

Vieira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Garces stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
