Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimebag Abbot (ranked 2916 p4p, 1118 weight class) and Ivan Bispen (ranked 425 p4p, 173 weight class). Abbot comes to the cage accompanied by Going The Distance. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dimebag Abbot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Bispen! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bispen tries to keep at a distance but Abbot has taken the fight into the clinch. Bispen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bispen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Abbot at a distance.
Abbot takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Abbot is breathing heavily. Bispen works over Abbot's head and body with a nice combination. Bispen dips to his left and cracks Abbot with an uppercut! Abbot on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Bispen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bispen cracks a nice hook into Abbot's ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bispen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Abbot tries to clinch there but Bispen circles away.

Bispen stuns Abbot with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bispen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Bispen throws a left that rocks Abbot and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bispen dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Abbot regain composure!
Abbot is rocked! Bispen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Abbot sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Oh Abbot is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bispen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Abbot parries the strikes from Bispen easily there. Bispen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Abbot to escape.
