And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 38 wins and 26 losses; Jackson Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown but MacGowan shows good takedown defense.
Ramirez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. MacGowan tries to avoid it but Ramirez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag MacGowan to the ground. MacGowan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
MacGowan drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ramirez sprawls and moves away.
MacGowan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ramirez circles away.
Ramirez goes for a double leg but MacGowan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as MacGowan continues to drive forward.
Shane MacGowan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Ramirez.
