This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 37 wins and 25 losses; Jackson Ramirez! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 20 wins and 26 losses; Strega Notturna!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Notturna throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramirez's waist but Ramirez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Notturna off to one side.
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Notturna sprawls well. Notturna wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ramirez gets slowly back to his feet.
