Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Bakarow (ranked 3240 p4p, 2149 weight class) and Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 280 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sergey Bakarow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakarow closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Anstey's guard.
Bakarow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bakarow pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Anstey is keeping the position for now.
Anstey is looking to stand up but Bakarow isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bakarow throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bakarow trying to control but Anstey is working from the bottom.
Bakarow won't allow Anstey to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bakarow wants to clinch up but Anstey keeps it at a distance.

Bakarow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anstey is fending him off so far but Bakarow persists. Nope, Anstey circles away and we're back to standing.
Bakarow takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bakarow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Anstey defends well and Bakarow ends up having to push Anstey into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Anstey throws a wild body kick that Bakarow sees coming a mile off.
Bakarow moves in looking to clinch but Anstey pushes him off.
Anstey jabs Bakarow right on the nose. Bakarow blinks but takes it well.
Bakarow throws a leg kick but Anstey sees it coming and moves out of range.
Anstey lands a head shot.
Bakarow fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergey Bakarow. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bakarow misses with a two punch combination.
Some bone on bone action there as Bakarow checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Corwin Anstey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bakarow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Anstey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Anstey throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bakarow uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anstey.
A punch combination from Anstey misses.
Anstey throws a right hand that Bakarow ducks under and follows up with a left that Bakarow also avoids with ease.
Anstey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bakarow was well out of range. Poor timing from Anstey.
Bakarow moves into the clinch.
Bakarow looking to throw knees to the head but Anstey is blocking nicely.
Anstey tries to circle away but Bakarow has him pinned against the cage.
Anstey wants to break free but Bakarow has control.

Bakarow lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Bakarow - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bakarow tries to pull guard but Anstey won't allow it.
Bakarow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bakarow shoots for a double leg takedown but Anstey sprawls well. He's pushed Bakarow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Despite the aggression on Anstey's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Bakarow tries a head kick but it misses.
Bakarow avoids a kick to the body.
Anstey throws a big shot that misses.
Bakarow shoots in for a takedown but Anstey shows good takedown defense.
A nice side step and Anstey releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Bakarow swings away with a body shot that misses
and Anstey counters with a nice uppercut.
Bakarow checks a low kick from Anstey.
Nice takedown defense from Anstey. No joy for Bakarow on that attempt.

Anstey shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Anstey slows the pace down in half guard.
Bakarow is trying to stand.
Anstey is taking a breather. Bakarow says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Corwin Anstey dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Anstey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bakarow appears to be looking for a big counter.
A low kick from Bakarow is predictable there
and Bakarow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bakarow is rocked!
Anstey drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Oh Bakarow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bakarow is being controlled here.
Bakarow can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Anstey prevents Bakarow from escaping the position.
Bakarow seems to have got his legs back now.
Anstey is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Bakarow is pushing Anstey's head away, looking to escape. Anstey manages to hold on to the position though.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Anstey keeps the fight on the outside.
Anstey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oooooh!!! Anstey has knocked Bakarow down with a huge combo! Anstey steps away and waves a wobbly Bakarow back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anstey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Anstey throws out a loose jab but Bakarow uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bakarow is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Anstey grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Bakarow takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Anstey cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
