The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rocksaw. That one must have hurt.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rocksaw has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

White takes a swing at Rocksaw's ribcage but misses.
White dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from White enables Rocksaw to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. White manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
