Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Fisher (ranked 5288 p4p, 5951 weight class) and George Lennon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Lennon has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Lennon! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fisher scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Oooooh!!! Fisher has knocked Lennon down with a huge combo! Fisher steps away and waves a wobbly Lennon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like George Lennon has been cut. Fisher darts in trying to clinch and Lennon counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lennon tries to free his leg and advance position but Fisher is retaining full guard. Lennon trying to control but Fisher is working from the bottom. Lennon has gone for a leg lock! Fisher slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lennon's guard.

Fisher doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fisher manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lennon looking for a guillotine here but Fisher defends easily.

Lennon is keen to just control but Fisher is a slippery customer. Lennon might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fisher haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Fisher tries to roll over but Lennon keeps him under control. Lennon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fisher keeps working. Lennon is working for a submission of some sort.

Fisher has his hands on Lennon's head, controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lennon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Lennon prevents Fisher from getting back to his feet. Lennon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fisher is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lennon, into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lennon is looking for a triangle but Fisher pushes his legs off easily.
We've been informed that Lennon has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

George Lennon has got the better of the ground game so far. Lennon has his foot on Fisher's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fisher works his way back into a safe position though. Fisher trying to control the position from guard on top but Lennon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lennon is looking for a triangle here but Fisher uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Fisher is trying to control the action in half guard but Lennon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lennon wants to improve his position but Fisher is controlling well.
Lennon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fisher's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fisher's back! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lennon's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Fisher will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on George Lennon's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Lennon swats away the attempt to clinch by Fisher. Fisher has managed to clinch.

Fisher pushes Lennon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Fisher is pressed up against the cage. Lennon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fisher down to the mat. Fisher avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lennon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fisher darts in trying to clinch so Lennon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fisher has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lennon off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Fisher lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Fisher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fisher gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lennon is looking for a takedown. Lennon is looking to take this one to the mat. Ryan Fisher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Lennon. Fisher stops a takedown attempt from Lennon.
Lennon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fisher has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lennon is trying to keep an underhook but Fisher manages to get the takedown into half guard. Fisher keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Lennon is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. George Lennon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ryan Fisher is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
