Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Cayman (ranked 4118 p4p, 24567 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 176 p4p, 360 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cayman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bulls on Parade- Rage Against The Machine. On his way into the ring it seems that Phil Cayman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Phil Cayman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Phil Cayman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakrzewski tries to clinch but Cayman moves away
and Cayman counters with a straight right hand.
Cayman stuffs the takedown attempt from Zakrzewski. Zakrzewski gets slowly back to his feet.
Zakrzewski throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Zakrzewski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Cayman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Cayman trying to control the position from guard on top but Zakrzewski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Cayman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cayman has picked Zakrzewski up - he's going for a ride! Cayman dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Zakrzewski is trying to stand up here but Cayman is controlling him well.

Cayman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Cayman tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Zakrzewski.

Cayman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zakrzewski is just riding it out for now. Cayman eventually gives up the hold.

Cayman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cayman stops Zakrzewski from getting back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Cayman closes the distance and clinches.
Cayman taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Cayman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cayman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Cayman tries for a kimura but Zakrzewski is defending well.

Cayman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zakrzewski keeps working.
Zakrzewski wants to get back to his feet but Cayman is dominant here and he's now got Zakrzewski's back!

Cayman lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Cayman is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Zakrzewski knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Zakrzewski for a finish.

Cayman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Zakrzewski has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Cayman is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Zakrzewski defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Cayman is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Zakrzewski has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Cayman has gone for a leg lock! Zakrzewski slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cayman's guard.

Zakrzewski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cayman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Cayman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
