Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Rockefeller !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Renato Javali!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockefeller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rockefeller has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Master Chai's Dojo in the buildup to the fight.
Rockefeller lands a big right hand that sends Javali crashing to the mat! Rockefeller stays standing though and waves Javali back to his feet!
It looks like Renato Javali has been cut.
Rockefeller walks into a jab.
Rockefeller throws a body shot but no joy.
An inside leg kick from Rockefeller misses.
Javali looks for the body kick but Rockefeller saw that one coming.
A slow jab from Rockefeller misses its intended target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Javali avoids the head kick by Rockefeller .
Rockefeller fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rockefeller misses the jab.
Javali misses the shot to the body.
Javali swings for the body but Rockefeller moves out of range.
Javali gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Rockefeller gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Javali is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richard Rockefeller !
