The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munroe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Munroe misses with a body kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Munroe or perhaps it was just good defense by Clark, which made it look bad.
Munroe stuffs the takedown.
Despite the aggression on Munroe 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Munroe scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clark gets back to full guard.
Munroe passes Clark's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Munroe is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Clark knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Clark for a finish.
Munroe doesn't have the hooks in and Clark manages to turn into his guard.
Clark wants to control from the top but Munroe keeps moving.
