Assante kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lose Yourself. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Assante cracks Richardson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Assante moves forwards but Richardson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Assante tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Richardson was well out of range. Poor timing from Assante.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Assante uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Richardson.

Richardson dances in with a quick combination. Assante is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Richardson snaps Assante's head back. Assante stumbles backwards against the cage. Richardson steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Assante's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Assante just didn't come prepared.
