The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peramaki scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Peramaki looks to land a combination. Magomedov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Magomedov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Magomedov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Magomedov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Peramaki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Peramaki wants to improve his position but Magomedov is controlling well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Magomedov connects with a nice short shot to Peramaki's temple.
Peramaki is looking for a sweep. Magomedov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Peramaki is refusing to be controlled, as Magomedov sits in half guard.

Magomedov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peramaki.

Peramaki clobbers Magomedov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Peramaki lands a nice hook to Magomedov's body. Magomedov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Magomedov changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Magomedov moves forwards but Peramaki connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Magomedov pulls Peramaki into guard.
Magomedov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Peramaki manages to get himself to full guard.
Magomedov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Peramaki has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Magomedov doesn't defend quickly enough and Peramaki has managed to lock this one up! Can Magomedov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Peramaki on a fantastic submission victory.
