Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rhashaun Kinkead! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Herrera! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinkead scores with a takedown into Herrera's guard. Herrera is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kinkead is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kinkead wants to control from the top but Herrera keeps moving. Kinkead sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Herrera is looking to sweep but instead, Kinkead has passed into half guard.
Kinkead wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Herrera uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Kinkead looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Herrera not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Herrera is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Herrera closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kinkead did well to prevent Herrera getting side control. Herrera is looking to advance position but Kinkead won't allow it. Kinkead is looking to improve his position.
Kinkead wants to get back to full guard but Herrera has passed into side control. Kinkead prevents Herrera from improving position. Kinkead gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Kinkead sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kinkead looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kinkead moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Herrera stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kinkead pushes Herrera up against the cage in a clinch. A nice left hand lands by Kinkead.
Kinkead swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Herrera is looking to take this one to the mat. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kinkead creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kinkead lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Herrera is trying to break free. Herrera tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kinkead avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Herrera tries to pull guard but Kinkead won't allow it.
Kinkead scores with a shoulder strike. Kinkead lands a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kinkead not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Herrera is looking for a triangle but Kinkead pushes his legs off easily.
Kinkead stays in close to Herrera's body and controls the position. Kinkead seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Herrera for as long as he can get away with. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rhashaun Kinkead dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Herrera is looking to clinch but Kinkead is avoiding it.
Herrera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kinkead pinned against the cage. Kinkead gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kinkead gets caught napping as Herrera dives in and scores a takedown. Kinkead manages to retain guard. Herrera won't allow Kinkead to sweep him here. Herrera is posturing up here but Kinkead has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Herrera tries to roll out but it's too tight and Herrera has to tap! Slick submission there by Kinkead!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rhashaun Kinkead! During a confident post fight interview, Rhashaun Kinkead thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. In defeat, Paul Herrera stepped up to the mic, saying 'I love you all!'.
