Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claw closes this distance looking for a takedown but Howard circles away.

Howard closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Claw is not content to let Howard control the position.
Howard is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Claw is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Howard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Howard is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Claw to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Claw shrugs it off.

Howard is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Claw won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Howard off his unconscious opponent!
