Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amaru Kawiwasulu (ranked 1780 p4p, 2613 weight class) and Lamberto De Mattos (ranked 96 p4p, 124 weight class). Lamberto De Mattos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Mattos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kawiwasulu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kawiwasulu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as De Mattos throws out the jab.
De Mattos is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
De Mattos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kawiwasulu on the side of the head.

De Mattos throws a looping overhand right but Kawiwasulu ducks down to avoid it.
Kawiwasulu tries to counter by moving into the clinch but De Mattos manages to circle out of the way.
Kawiwasulu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps De Mattos 's head backwards.

It looks like Lamberto De Mattos has been cut.
Kawiwasulu swings for the body but De Mattos moves out of range.
De Mattos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kawiwasulu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

De Mattos connects with a crisp jab.

Kawiwasulu gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Still in the clinch, Kawiwasulu scores with a nice short uppercut.

Kawiwasulu tightens his grip and picks De Mattos up, before dumping him to the ground. De Mattos manages to land in guard.

Kawiwasulu has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Kawiwasulu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kawiwasulu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
De Mattos avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Mattos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kawiwasulu manages to get himself to full guard.

De Mattos with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
De Mattos trying to control but Kawiwasulu is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kawiwasulu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

De Mattos moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
