Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yar Bol (ranked 262 p4p, 572 weight class) and Minato Tokugawa (ranked 39 p4p, 79 weight class). Yar Bol could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Minato Tokugawa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yar Bol! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Minato Tokugawa! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bol scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bol scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Tokugawa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Yar Bol has been cut. Bol cracks Tokugawa with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tokugawa looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away can Bol finish him?
It looks like Minato Tokugawa has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bol walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tokugawa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Tokugawa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bol lands a jab to the head.
Bol rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tokugawa moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tokugawa avoids a kick to the body.
Bol has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Catch Wrestling L.A. in the buildup to the fight. Tokugawa avoids the head kick by Bol.
Tokugawa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tokugawa feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bol sprawling to the canvas! Bol rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tokugawa finish him?!
Bol throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tokugawa instigates a clinch. Tokugawa can't find room to land a body shot as Bol controls the action.
A right handed body shot lands from Bol.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Bol. Tokugawa tries a body shot but Bol blocks it.
Bol can't break the clinch.
Bol breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bol lands with a cross. Tokugawa jabbing away but nothing is landing. As Tokugawa looks to move away, Bol throws a big counter combo but Tokugawa just gets out of the way. Tokugawa connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bol scores with a decent looking hook. Bol tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tokugawa was well out of range. Poor timing from Bol. Tokugawa misses with a straight left. Bol listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Tokugawa gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Bol gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Tokugawa is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yar Bol! Yar Bol retains his light heavyweight title!
