The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cream manages to avoid it.
Cream fails with the takedown.
Cream misses with a takedown attempt - Baba sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Baba swings for the body but Cream moves out of range.
Cream showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Baba.
Cream shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Baba manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Baba is on top in guard.

Baba's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cream wants to stand and escape but Baba is having none of it.
Cream looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Baba is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Baba wants to pass the guard but Cream is keeping the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ali Baba just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Baba throws a series of punches but Cream avoids them all with ease.
Baba throws a shot from downtown. Cream moves away and avoids it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Baba steps into range and cracks Cream with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Cream flops backwards and Baba dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Peaches Cream has been cut.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cream fails in his attempt to clinch.
Baba throws a right and a left that Cream avoids nicely.
Baba cracks Cream with a left hook right on the temple and Cream goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Baba lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Cream is OK!
