Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Willy Mataitai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vadius Highwind!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highwind looks to land a combination but Mataitai avoids it well.
Mataitai uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Highwind lands a body shot.
Mataitai misses with a straight right.
Mataitai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Highwind scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Willy Mataitai has been cut.
Mataitai tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Highwind lands a big right hand that sends Mataitai crashing to the mat! Highwind stays standing though and waves Mataitai back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mataitai has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Mataitai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Highwind paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mataitai throws a body shot but no joy.
Mataitai backing away here, and Highwind unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Highwind throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mataitai colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Highwind as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mataitai is left battered and dazed whilst Highwind and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vadius Highwind!
A less than humble Vadius Highwind misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Willy Mataitai was interviewed post fight and said 'Back to the gym.'.
