Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Fu (ranked 2938 p4p, 3004 weight class) and Nathan Cruz (ranked 336 p4p, 345 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Fu !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cruz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cruz misses with a looping right.
Cruz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fu lands with a slapping head kick.
Cruz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fu ducks under a wild hook from Cruz.

Fu lands with an uppercut that bounces Cruz off the cage and back into range.

Cruz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nathan Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cruz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fu , as that shot connected.
Cruz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fu can pounce on him.

Cruz darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fu lands a big head kick that sends Cruz tumbling to the mat! Fu takes a step backwards and waves Cruz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cruz has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Fu .

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Cruz might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Fu has got the better of the exchanges.

Cruz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Fu counters with a head kick that drops Cruz to the mat! Cruz scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Fu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cruz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cruz there as he acknowledges the shot.
Fu blocks a jab.
Fu drops Cruz with a beautiful combination! Cruz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fu is looking for the KO!

Fu looks to land a combination but Cruz avoids it well.
Fu drops Cruz with a naaaaasty hook - Cruz is in real trouble here! Fu dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

In his post fight interview, Tommy Fu started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
