Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Duggan (ranked 4713 p4p, 24472 weight class) and Xavier Dayton (ranked 577 p4p, 663 weight class). Xavier Dayton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Duggan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Dayton!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dayton throws a looping overhand right but Duggan ducks down to avoid it.
Duggan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dayton.
Dayton throws a series of strikes that have Duggan backpedaling.
Dayton lands a big head kick that sends Duggan tumbling to the mat! Dayton takes a step backwards and waves Duggan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Duggan is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Duggan looks to score with a jab to the body but Dayton is just out of range.
Dayton shapes to counter with a head kick.
Oh Duggan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Duggan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dayton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Duggan throws a looping overhand right but Dayton ducks down to avoid it.
Duggan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Duggan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dayton.
Duggan seems to have got his legs back now.
Duggan misses with a hook.
Dayton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duggan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dayton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dayton scores with a nice head shot.
Dayton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Duggan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Duggan avoids the body shot from Dayton.
Duggan tries to score with a low kick but Dayton moves his leg out of the way.
Duggan feints and as Dayton raises his hands in defense, Duggan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dayton scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dayton lands a left and a right that send Duggan crashing to the mat, dazed. Dayton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
A head kick by Dayton misses
and Duggan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dayton's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duggan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Duggan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Duggan throws a strike but Dayton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dayton wants to stand but Duggan is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duggan looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dayton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Duggan wants to control but Dayton is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dayton tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Duggan tries to get to full guard but Dayton has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duggan is looking to control Dayton's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Duggan avoid being mounted?
Dayton tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Duggan wants to get back to full guard but Dayton has passed into side control.
Duggan is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dayton wants to stand but Duggan has his arm trapped.
Duggan is looking for a sweep.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dayton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Duggan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Duggan scores with a shot to the body.
A jab from Duggan finds it's way through Dayton's defenses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dayton throws a hook but Duggan avoids it easily.
Duggan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dayton moves away.
Duggan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dayton scores with a head kick.
Duggan connects with the punch.
Dayton just misses with a punch to the body.
Dayton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
No joy there for Dayton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duggan throws a hook to the side of Dayton's head but Dayton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dayton lands a leg kick that knocks Duggan off balance momentarily.
Dayton takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Duggan takes one on the button.
Duggan misses with a body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dayton lands a left and a right that send Duggan crashing to the mat, dazed. Dayton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Duggan misses with an uppercut. Dayton saw that one coming.
Dayton with the counter takedown but Duggan avoids it easily.
Duggan throws a lazy right hand but Dayton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Duggan swings widly with a right hand
and Dayton counters with a straight right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xavier Dayton dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dayton fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Duggan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Dayton.
Duggan throws an off balance right hand
and Dayton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dayton closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Duggan! Dayton dives in looking to finish! Duggan is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xavier Dayton!
