PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Gomi (ranked 2424 p4p, 5034 weight class) and Zumva Keyd (ranked 155 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Only Thing They Fear is You- DOOM Eternal OST. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Gomi walks into a left hand.

Keyd is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gomi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Gomi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dillo's Deadly Dojo in the buildup to the fight.
Keyd avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Keyd is rocked!
Keyd takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Hiroshi Gomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Keyd gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Gomi gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Keyd is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
