The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faita clinches up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on McManus - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Faita scores with a shoulder strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by McManus.
Faita scores with an uppercut up the middle.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Faita.
Faita throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A nice right hand lands inside from Faita.
Faita misses with some punches.
McManus swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Faita working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Faita pushes McManus back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
McManus looks winded!
Faita lands a left hand that snaps the head of McManus backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Faita lands a hook that snaps the head of McManus backwards.
Faita lands a left hand that snaps the head of McManus backwards.

McManus is rocked!
Faita stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
McManus is still on wobbly legs! Can Faita finish him?

Faita's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Faita ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
McManus seems to have recovered his senses.

Faita drives through and clinches with McManus against the cage.
Faita lands a shoulder strike.
Good body shot from Faita.
Faita lands a hook to the side of the head.

Faita drops McManus onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! McManus is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Faita creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends McManus's eyes rolling into the back of his head! McManus drops to his knees and Faita pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
