Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clarence Boston (ranked 3349 p4p, 2594 weight class) and Jaxon Duval (ranked 271 p4p, 216 weight class). The key to victory for Clarence Boston has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Clarence Boston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaxon Duval! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duval takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Boston cracks Duval with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Boston dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Duval takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Boston connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Duval takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nice uppercut lands for Boston. That snapped Duval's head back.
Boston fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duval looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Boston darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boston throws a left and a right that both miss
and Duval counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Duval. Duval throws a big elbow that misses. Duval must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boston is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boston working for a triangle but Duval defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boston is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Boston controlling the action here. Duval is looking to control Boston's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Duval avoid being mounted? Boston tries to pass to full mount but Duval defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boston is looking for a kimura but Duval is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boston to get the leverage. Duval keeping hold of Boston's head, controlling as best he can. Duval has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Boston frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Boston tries to control but Duval wriggling away. Duval has given up his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boston is working for a rear naked choke. Duval is not defending it well and Boston has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Duval refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Duval's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Clarence Boston! Clarence Boston decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
