The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien pushes Ellacuria up against the cage in a clinch.
Ellacuria manages to break the clinch.
O Brien tries to close the distance and clinch but Ellacuria swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
O Brien has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ellacuria pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
O Brien scores with a nice strike.
Arturo Ellacuria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Brien ducks under a wild hook from Ellacuria.
Ellacuria throws a right hand that misses
and O Brien connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ellacuria is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by O Brien.
A little jabbing left from O Brien on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

O Brien has Ellacuria pressed against the cage, preventing Ellacuria from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ellacuria using the Thai plumb to throw knees but O Brien has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

O Brien tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ellacuria swats him away and circles back towards the center.

O Brien moves into range and clinches up with Ellacuria.
O Brien breaks from the clinch.
O Brien fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ellacuria, pushing him back against the cage.
O Brien misses with a hook from the clinch.

Ellacuria lands a left hand that snaps the head of O Brien backwards.
O Brien pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ellacuria tried to score with a low kick but O Brien checks it.
O Brien swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ellacuria throws an ugly left hook that misses
and O Brien counters with a stiff right hand.

Ellacuria just misses with a punch to the body.
Ellacuria scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ellacuria jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
O Brien has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ellacuria finds it's way round the side to connect with O Brien's head.

Ellacuria fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops O Brien to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! O Brien looks to clinch but Ellacuria throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! O Brien taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
