Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from D.
Saotome avoids a kick to the body.
Saotome takes a shot right to the bread basket.
D dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Saotome. That did some damage!
D tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saotome paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Saotome looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Saotome doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Saotome looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
No luck for Saotome with that takedown attempt.
D tries to clinch up but Saotome circles away and keeps his distance.
D tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A left and a right from D both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Ranma Saotome has been cut.
D thuds his shin into the meat of Saotome's side.
D feints and then cracks Saotome's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Saotome down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
D cracks Saotome with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Saotome falls to his knees and D doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). D D!
