A fine choice. Huerta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Coming Undone- Tantric kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brian Mc Auley could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jesus Huerta's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mc Auley clinches.
Huerta looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Huerta jumps guard but Mc Auley stands there with Huerta around his waist. Huerta gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mc Auley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Huerta has him pressed against the cage.
Huerta has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mc Auley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Mc Auley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Huerta has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mc Auley clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

That was a close round but I would say that Brian Mc Auley will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Mc Auley drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huerta pushes Mc Auley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mc Auley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Huerta is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mc Auley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Huerta's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Huerta's back!

Mc Auley is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Huerta has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Huerta is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mc Auley gets his way!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mc Auley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
