Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Lodbrok (ranked 4291 p4p, 3073 weight class) and Bang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Bang.
Lodbrok avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bang misses the shot to the body.
Bang misses with an uppercut. Lodbrok saw that one coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lodbrok looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bang tries to counter with a clinch but Lodbrok shakes him off and moves away.

and Bang counters with a one-two to the body.
Lodbrok tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bang was well out of range. Poor timing from Lodbrok.
Lodbrok shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bang eats them both and turns towards Lodbrok to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lodbrok fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lodbrok takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Lodbrok's corner calls for a 1-2. Lodbrok obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Bang steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Lodbrok.

Oh Lodbrok is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bang ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ragnar Lodbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bang throws a series of punches but Lodbrok moves out of range.
Lodbrok ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bang moves away.
Bang cracks Lodbrok with an open hand slap.
Lodbrok scores with a nice strike.

and Bang counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bang.
Bang working hard to break the clinch.
Bang is looking to break free of the clinch but Lodbrok has double underhooks.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lodbrok just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bang's brow.
Bang has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lodbrok tries to close the distance and clinch but Bang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A left lands for Lodbrok.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lodbrok rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lodbrok misses with a hook. Bang ducked under it nicely.
Bang throws out a counter right but Lodbrok avoids it with no problem.
Bang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lodbrok momentarily.

Bang appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Lodbrok lands a nice hook to Bang's body. Bang takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lodbrok ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bang moves away.

Bang just misses with a punch to the body.
Bang avoids the body shot from Lodbrok.

Bang tries to counter with a clinch but Lodbrok shakes him off and moves away.
Bang bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lodbrok's head backwards.

As Bang looks to move away, Lodbrok throws a big counter combo but Bang just gets out of the way.
Bang is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lodbrok.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oooooh!!! Bang has knocked Lodbrok down with a huge combo! Bang steps away and waves a wobbly Lodbrok back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Bang is still on wobbly legs! Can Lodbrok finish him?
