Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnold Rimmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colin Smith will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 2, fighting out of London, Arnold Rimmer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Colin Smith! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith throws a nice looking combination but Rimmer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rimmer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Smith napping and manages to drive through into side control! Smith is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rimmer has just dragged him back down to the mat. Rimmer passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Smith! Smith can't escape the position.
Rimmer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rimmer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Smith's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Smith is trying desperately to improve position. Smith looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Rimmer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rimmer won't let Smith get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Smith tries to hold on but Rimmer postures up. Rimmer controlling the pace for now. Smith wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rimmer looking to control and managing it successfully. Smith really wants to buck Rimmer off and get back to his feet. Rimmer controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Smith is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Rimmer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Smith is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Rimmer controlling from mount. Smith squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rimmer content just to control the position here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arnold Rimmer dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rimmer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Smith!
The referee stands the fighters back up. Arnold Rimmer just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Smith fails in his attempt to clinch. A combination from Smith does no damage. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rimmer.
Rimmer drives through with a takedown into guard. Rimmer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smith wants to get back to his feet but Rimmer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith trying to keep a closed guard but Rimmer is proving a slippery customer.
Rimmer prevents Smith from getting back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Rimmer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Smith misses with a hook. Rimmer ducked under it nicely. Rimmer throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Rimmer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Rimmer finishes the takedown easily into guard. Smith wants to stand up but Rimmer is controlling him. Rimmer trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rimmer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Smith is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith wants to get back to his feet but Rimmer passes into half guard.
Smith is trying to stand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Smith tries to clinch there but Rimmer circles away.
Rimmer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rimmer stops Smith from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rimmer sitting in guard here, content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Smith is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arnold Rimmer dominated that second round. That's time! Rimmer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Smith tries for a takedown but Rimmer circles away easily and Rimmer counters with a nice double leg into guard. Smith is looking to stand up but Rimmer isn't so interested in that idea. Smith is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Rimmer dives into side control.
Rimmer tries to advance to mount but Smith denies him. Smith tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rimmer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Smith wants to get back to his feet but Rimmer drags him back down. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rimmer remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith is pushing Rimmer's head away, looking to escape. Rimmer manages to hold on to the position though. Smith is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Smith throws a nice looking combination but Rimmer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rimmer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rimmer showed some decent athleticism there. Smith trying to hold on to Rimmer's head to control him but Rimmer postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith is looking to get back to is feet but Rimmer passes into side control.
Smith tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Smith squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Smith tries to lock up and control but Rimmer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Smith trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rimmer avoids the attempt from Smith to control. Rimmer won't let Smith get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Rimmer controlling the pace for now. You get the feeling that Smith really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Smith tries to hold on but Rimmer pushes him away. Smith is trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Smith wants to hold on but Rimmer pushes him away. Smith might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rimmer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Colin Smith has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Smith swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Smith is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rimmer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Arnold Rimmer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rimmer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
