The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Chai darts in and clinches Thumb up against the cage. Chai has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Thumb is thwarting Chai's attempts to control the position. Thumb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Thumb is keen to just control but Chai is a slippery customer. Chai has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Thumb.
