The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Kersikov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kersikov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

You can see the frustration on Gomes's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
