TPG 003 PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Mark Jackacy! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Sam Owen!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Jackacy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Owen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Owen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Owen tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackacy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jackacy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Owen pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Owen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jackacy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
