And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Thiago Cardosi! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Cardosi rushes Josh and presses him up against the cage. Josh has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cardosi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Josh (4) vs (0) Cardosi Josh gets his hands free as Cardosi looks to control. Cardosi is really stuck here.
Josh doesn't have the hooks in and Cardosi manages to turn into his guard.
Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Josh (4) vs (2) Cardosi Cardosi wants to control from the top but Josh keeps moving. Cardosi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Josh has his hands on Cardosi's head, controlling the position. Cardosi tries to free his leg and advance position but Josh is retaining full guard. Cardosi wants to control from the top but Josh keeps moving. Josh keeping full guard, as Cardosi tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cardosi is trying to control the action in half guard but Josh is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cardosi prevents Josh from improving his position. Cardosi trying to control but he's not successful this time. Josh is looking to get to half guard. Cardosi with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Josh tries to hold on but Cardosi pushes him away. Cardosi controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cardosi is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Josh is surviving well by controlling Cardosi's body position as best he can. Cardosi wants to control the pace but Josh is squirming around nicely.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Josh sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Cardosi seems to be looking for submissions.

Cardosi is looking to take a break and control but Josh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cardosi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Josh is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cardosi pulls his head out easily. Josh wants to improve his position but Cardosi is controlling well.

Josh defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Josh gets back to half guard. Cardosi is thwarting Josh's attempts to control the position. Cardosi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
