Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24085 p4p, 24034 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 35 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 33 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A lazy body kick from Sapi
and Mibangon counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Sapi is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Mibangon counters with a solid body kick.
Sapi feints and as Mibangon raises his hands in defense, Sapi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sapi wants to control from the top but Mibangon keeps moving.
Sapi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sapi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mibangon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sapi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sapi fails with the takedown.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown but Sapi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sapi steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

and Mibangon makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sapi really felt that one!
Mibangon darts in looking for a takedown but Sapi gets double underhooks and turns Mibangon into the cage.
Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mibangon blocks it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mibangon is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sapi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Minatay Mibangon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sapi is trying to control Mibangon's posture but Mibangon avoids it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Sapi delivers a nice body kick.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sapi shoots in and drives through. Mibangon sprawls well.
Sapi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sapi but Sapi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sapi is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

That was a close second round but I would say that Minatay Mibangon will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Sapi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mibangon's guard.

Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Mibangon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
