Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Wick (ranked 1766 p4p, 2557 weight class) and Fidelity Castro (ranked 211 p4p, 295 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fidelity Castro!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro throws a head kick that misses.
Wick misses with a wild combination.
Castro throws a big counter head kick but Wick avoids it with no problem.
Castro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wick.
Castro moves forwards but Wick connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Fidelity Castro has been cut.
Wick swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Castro lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Wick or not.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Castro with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wick to score with a decent uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Castro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wick scores with a sloppy right hand. Castro should have avoided that one.
Castro drops his hands momentarily and Wick takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Castro takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Wick is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Castro can do to turn this around?

Castro has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

A little jabbing left from Castro on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wick bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Castro's head backwards.

Wick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Castro lands a big right hand that sends Wick crashing to the mat! Castro stays standing though and waves Wick back to his feet!
Wick is rocked!
Wick tries to work over Castro's front leg with a kick but Castro checks it.
Oh Wick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Castro engages and cracks Wick with a massive lead left hook - Wick tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Castro is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fidelity Castro!
