Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Abbondanza Cellini (ranked 3587 p4p, 5282 weight class) and Brutus Pigmy (ranked 239 p4p, 309 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abbondanza Cellini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brutus Pigmy!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pigmy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cellini lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Pigmy takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pigmy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cellini.
Cellini throws the kick towards the body but Pigmy avoids it.
Pigmy misses with a wild body shot.
A combination from Cellini does no damage.

It looks like Abbondanza Cellini has been cut.
Pigmy tried to score with a low kick but Cellini checks it.
Pigmy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cellini eats them both and turns towards Pigmy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Cellini counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pigmy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cellini's guard.
Pigmy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pigmy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pigmy throws a strike but Cellini rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Cellini throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pigmy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Pigmy tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Cellini postures up in Pigmy's guard and throws a big left but Pigmy blocks it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pigmy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pigmy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cellini. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pigmy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cellini stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cellini cracks Pigmy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Pigmy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cellini sprawls well. Cellini wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pigmy gets slowly back to his feet.

Pigmy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cellini to the mat! Cellini manages to get full guard.

Brutus Pigmy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Brutus Pigmy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cellini, as that shot connected.

letting Cellini counter with a right hand.
Cellini scores with a sloppy right hand. Pigmy should have avoided that one.
Cellini lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Cellini lands a head kick. Pigmy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pigmy slaps away a takedown attempt from Cellini, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pigmy is looking for the big counter here.
Pigmy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

A quick step to the side and Cellini tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cellini lands with an uppercut that bounces Pigmy off the cage and back into range.
