Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilgonis Bahs (ranked 24764 p4p, 5253 weight class) and Mimo Mosa (ranked 220 p4p, 278 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bahs scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mosa checks a leg kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bahs enables Mosa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bahs manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mosa is standing up over Bahs. Bahs looks to escape but Mosa dives into side control.

Mosa sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bahs is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bahs tries to improve position but can't.

Bahs is trying to control Mosa's posture but Mosa avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bahs is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Mosa is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Mosa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bahs keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Mosa lands a couple of good shots and Bahs has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
You can see the frustration on Bahs's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Mosa is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Bahs. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

What can Bahs do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
