Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 83 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 60 - 177 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Pending enables Mmm to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pending manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Pending looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mmm looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mmm will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mmm seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pending for as long as he can get away with.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pending tries to sprawl but Mmm drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Mmm is taking a breather. Pending says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mmm lands strikes from half guard.
Pending has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Mmm escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Mmm!
Mmm working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Pending gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mmm to score an easy takedown into full guard.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Mmm is stinking the place up with his stalling.
Pending should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
